Holmains is the most extensively documented estate of the Carruthers family.  As such, it will require a lot of time to pare down the documentation into what will fit onto this web site.  Our plan is to put on this site first, the smaller estates, of which information may not be as readily available to family researchers.  Please have patience with this approach.  Holmains will be added in due time.
