Records of the Carruthers Family, compiled by A. Stanley Carruthers and R. C. Reid, is the definitive book on the Carruthers family origination and genealogy.  Only 100 copies of this book were published.  In an effort to share the results of this compilation with a wider audience doing research on the Carruthers, Carothers, Caruthers, etc. family lines, the current owner of the rights to this book has graciously given permission to publish the contents of the book on this web site.

Over the next few months, starting in September, 2008, chapters of the book will be placed on the www.carothers-carruthers.com web site.  You are free to use this content on your research.
