Other Carruthers Studies

On one of the genealogy forums, someone posted back in 2002 that "there are 17 studies written on the families and should be read by all researching the American Carruthers, and the number of other spellings used". I had posted a message, and sent an email, asking for the 17 studies to be identified, but no response was ever received. I will attempt here to identify as many studies as possible. I do not believe that my list necessarily matches someone else's 17, so this will be an informative, but incomplete, list.

Should you have knowledge of any other studies on the family that are not listed here, please email us at webmaster@carothers-carruthers.com to assist in making this list as helpful as possible to the family researchers. Thank you.

There is a lot of information on the Carruthers family that can be found in books that are mainly about other families. Many of these books are listed on our Library and Reviews page. You may be interested in finding those books also.

Here is the list - in no particular order. Studies obtained by Carothers-Carruthers.com, some listed on our Library and Reviews page, will have a ♦ after their listing here.
